We have welcomed the first generation of PhD students in October 2016. Currently, we offer several PhD positions for the second generation, starting in October 2018. The third generation is planned to start in October 2020. Announcements will be done through this website.
PhD students are endowed with an E 13 TV-L (75%) position (depending on previous professional experience starting at approx. 1600€ monthly net income) for up to 3 years.

The IRTG aims to diversify its student body. For this purpose, the IRTG encourages applications from qualified women at any time. The flexible curriculum allows such applicants to enter the IRTG throughout the year. Please contact the IRTG office for further information.
